The day of our Australia vs. Penang swim meet. This was a great day and heaps of fun! A lot of effort went into the organising and we extend our thanks to the staff at the Chinese Swimming Club for their efforts and for their extreme generosity and concessions to us. They closed the pool for the afternoon in our honour and organised the event with efficiency and humour. Afterwards there were speeches, gifts and plaques exchanged. The prize giving by Soh Yew Siang was hilarious! We were made to feel most welcome and were invited back for a repeat event at our next reunion in 2010.

After the races we donned some dry clothes and went next door to the Nonya cafe for some dinner.
