Amazing what you find while surfing - only wish I had found the site much
earlier than this.
Hard to believe it is almost 40 years since arriving on foreign soil for the first time. The memories of RAAF School, Scout Rock, the Jap forts, the pool, sport and hostie are forever etched in the brain. However, they would not have been so memorable had it not been for the friendships made during the three years I was there.
What has happened since those school days. I am happily married to Vicki (17 years) and have two boys 16 and 13. I have etched a career in aviation (30 years)and currently a section head with the Australian Transport Safety Bureau in Canberra. Still a feral Geelong - Vicki reckons the only time she disowns me is when they play - no understanding women sometimes!!!!!!
Vicki and I will be attending the reunion in November so I hope to catch up with a few old mates then, if not beforehand.
