I was always in trouble at School and this was no exception for a RAAF brat. I hung around with Chris Deadman, Alan Farley (BrownEye or Apples) and that mob up near the Attap huts mostly. Chris and I used to do half an hour on the PA through one of the Attaps at lunch, thought we where DJ's..... and cool too. We got kicked out of Geography and made to tend the rice paddy up the back of the main building. All three of us ended up there, old Mr Brandenberger didn't much care for our brand of humour I guess.

I joined the Navy, that was my first job at 16, about 6 months after I got back from RSP to Williamtown, Newcastle NSW. Since then I've done many many jobs (unable to settle, from Retail Manager, Owner of an Export Company, QANTAS Freight Supervisor, Longline Tuna Fisherman and Spruiker. Most recently though, I have been working in Computers and have run a maintenance System for a Pharmaceutical Company in North Ryde NSW for the past six Years. My longest job ever!!!!

Like the rest of you, or at least most of the (ex) kids anyway, I've been married and divorced at least once, it's a package deal apparently. I have only seen a few people from RSP since leaving but I ran into Jo and Kaylene Swanson just recently.

There are many things that happened in Penang and all of it was so great though all we could talk about was how many days we had to go.
