I was only very young while at RAAF School Butterworth ... but I remember being particularly good at drawing aeroplanes by the end of Kindergarten '84!!!
My family (Bevan [Dad], Noelene [Mum], Kelly [sister]) headed back to Australia the next year. I lived in a small town called Marburg just out of Ipswich, QLD, until the end of high school. Dad and Mum still live here.
I studied a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Education degree at Uni of Q and have been working as an English and History teacher on the Gold Coast for the past 3 years. I live only 10 mins from beach!!!
My Dad is now working as a civvie, checking out F1-11 parts near Amberley and Mum has been a teacher's aide for about 10 years. Kelly is completing a Human Movements degree at Uni of Q.
I have only kept in contact with a few people from Malaysia,including Nicky Walsh who is in the photo of my class group. I would love to hear from anyone in my class. I do remember most of the kids.
