Our family was posted to Malaysia from 1960 - 1963. We arrived as a family of three - Peter was nearly 5 years old, I was 3 1/2 years old and Paul was about 6 months old.
Our family lived on Penang Island and have many fond memories of that time. This has been helped by the numerous slide nights when we were children. Mum and dad left with 2 more children - Mark born in 1961 and my sister Wendy born in 1962.
My husband and I were posted to Butterworth from November 1978 to June 1981 and followed family tradition by producing a daughter.
