Grade 10
I arrived in the middle of 1985, I was doing my School Certificate and found that
a lot of the courses I was studying in Australia were not relevant as they were
not being run in Penang.
However I still managed to have a wonderful
time.
My best memory is when the Grade 10 went on an excursion to an
island for a few days and as we got off the bus one of the lads said out loud
"THIS IS BETTER THAN MALAYSIA" at this everyone broke out in laughter
so yes you can have a good time as a kid.
After I left Butterworth, I
joined the Air Force and am still in 14 Years later, it seems a long time ago
now but I must admit I had a wonderful time at the School and the Radio Station
where I was a DJ.
