Hmmm....Have the greatest of memories from RAAF School, however was not one of the 'Cool' kids was more of a nerd.

Loved Art with Mr Wind, and had Mrs Cunningham in grade 6 as a teacher...but she had to leave as she contracted Glandular Fever and had to go. Her daughter Kate was quite popular as she was the first one in the class to wear a bra (I was second)....lol

Used to live in Tan Sai Gin in Butterworth and used to spend most of the summer hols at the pool...lazing around and eating their yummy chips (you just couldnt go to the pool without having some chips).

Some fond memories of RSP were the Penang Hill Run and when Rolf Harris came to the school (and I got in trouble for copying his trademark signature and putting it into my friends autograph books).

I sometimes really do miss Malaysia...we seemed to have sooooo much more time then...and everything was literally right at your door...from Terry (the fruit and vege man) to the video shop (in the boot of the car) and the bread man who used to cycle around in the morning and the evening....not to mention the nightly mozzie spraying.....

Many a night was spent sitting with friends on the 'monnie blocks' at the edge of your driveway and the never ending blackouts where the only sound was the sound of the mozzies buzzing around your ears...ahhhhhhh they were the days.

Things are much more hectic now...I am married with two daughters and my husband and I run our own Financial Planning business. It keeps us out of trouble...but its great to wander down memory lane every now and then....

Would love to chat with some of you...so please drop me a line.
