With Elaine Goodwin (now Mattiazzi) and Rosemary Tucker(now Hart) we were fortunate enough to go to Penang, 1969/70. We still remain friends.
We all married Airmen and are still happily married. My husband, Lindsay Wall, served 6 years, three of those years in Penang. We have two children, have lived in Brisbane 26 years and run a Wire Rope business here.
After 33 odd years of teaching I retired in 1989 as Principal of Fortitude Valley State School, Brisbane but remain teaching on small contracts.
SO
those two wonderful years in Penang shaped my future that's for sure!!!
