Special Memories: All of them! Lived in New Road off Jalan Bungah Pudak, Hillside. Loved the ride to school in the bus racing other buses, getting "21" tickets on the ride to town. Loved racing home to go to the Penang Swimming Club or to the Hostel for other sport. Loved the Joeys and family dances at the Hostel and the teenage dances at the swimming club. Loved walking up the hill behind the school looking at the Jap forts. Loved the bazaar and the Chinese Emporium in town, the Pulau Tikus markets, Kings Restaurant and Eden Cafe. Loved the freedom and the friends.
We did have lots of fun.
Now living in Perth and have two daughters aged 23 and 25 and work for a Government Department.
Have had lots of fun catching up with old friends at Melbourne, Brisbane, Penang and Perth Reunions.
