Lived in Penang both times and in 67 to 69 at Jala nyor chabang 1 street down from R G store. In 74 we moved to Tanjong Bunga Rd and lived opposite the Chinese swimming pool then moved to Jalan Azyze about 6 houses down the road from school. Dad was in charge of the scouts and also the Joeys club during that time and I can remember the sports presentation nights and the dances well. Mum used to look after the Tombola (bingo) at the RAAF club. I used to hate getting jabs Typhoid and Malaria everyone used to punch you in the arm if they knew you had just got them. I played basketball badminton tennis, was in the scouts.
People I remember from that time are Narelle Mann, Vicki Lane, Paul Logan, Ken Musson, Graeme Gant, The Nelson sisters(they lived next door) the Tinsleys and Brownings. There are plenty more I hope to hear from some of you. I now live in Brisbane and am the south Queensland Manager for Australia's largest Rail Freight company.
