Since leaving Malaysia in 1974, I went to school in Toowoomba (Centenary Heights State High School) and then joined the RAAF where I have served ever since. I have been posted to Adelaide, Wagga Wagga, Laverton and had a stint in St Kilda Rd in Melbourne.

Two kids and two marriages later, I have no plans to leave the RAAF as I enjoy the life. Didn't see service in Iraq but I have been back to Penang on six occasions with the RAAF. It's always great to visit the place where I grew up and it was great seeing some of the characters still there after all these years.

I've played basketball constantly ever since I took up the sport via the Joeys Club at the Hostel in Penang. My parents retired on Bribie Island in the early 90's and my brothers still live in the area. I currently live in Melbourne with my son and daughter and my wife is a RAAF Officer working at Laverton as well. We plan to stay in Melbourne post-RAAF as we love the lifestyle. Started fishing in Malaysia and I've maintained the interest up until today.

We travel to the N.T. every two years to chase Barramundi for two weeks. Love to hear from anyone who went to school at the same time. I've kept in touch with many of the basketballers that play with me in the early 70's at the Hostel. Please drop me a line if you want to catch up.
