The family arrived sometime in Jan 1959. That is my elder brother Owen and two younger brothers Brian & Ian. Only the three eldest attended the Residence Address school. I started in grade 4 (59) and returned to Australia at the end of grade 6(61).
The people that I remember most are the Linskits (I think that is how it was spelt)next door and the Murpheys across the road. We lived at Rifle Range Rd Ayer Aytam.
I
have yet to return to Penang to see how many changes have occured.
I
was a member of the scouts and attended the Jamboree in Thailand and another one
on Penang later in the year.
