I have very fond memories of my time at RAAF School Penang from 1966 to 1967 and the many friendships I made. This fantastic web site brings back a lot of the memories and I even remember some of the names in the photos on the site.
My most vivid memories are of the sports carnivals and that horrible milk we were forced to drink and who could ever forget the Chinese Swimming Pool and the RAAF Hostel.
Does anyone know what has become of Mr Tye? I will always remember the times he complained to me that he was not feeling very well at school because my father had kept him out at the Sargents Mess all night.
I am currently living in Canberra and working in the Public Service. Was married once and have four children. I have never been back to Penang since my school days but every time I check out this web site I get the urge to visit my local travel agency.
Once again this is a great web site and keep up the good work whoever is responsible.
