Lesley (now Seymour) lived at 19 Jalan Bungah Chempah Putah Hillside and Rose
Avenue.
Attended the RAAF School Grade 3 Mrs Cowman, Grade 4 Mr Hunt
and Grade 5.
Memories. The wonderful curries made by our cook with all the
accompaniments, served on our dining table that had a serving carousel. When Mum
& Dad were not around, my brothers would spin my sister Jan on the carousel. The
man that rode the cart loaded with everything you would find at hardware house
to our door.
I remember our amah Lucy taking me to visit her home in
a kampong, our gardener Rajah giving a constant supply of coconuts and spraying
me and my younger brother and sister with the hose on hot days. My Dad was involved
with the Boy Scouts, as was my teacher Mr Hunt, so he became a good friend to
our family.
I now live at Milbong, Queensland - I have three adult children.
