My memories of RSP and Malaysia in general will stay with
me forever.
We lived in Jalan Marie Pritchay. My brothers Roy & James and my sister Sarah all attended RSP too.
Girlgiudes,
the hostie,movie nights at the swimming pool were my favourites.
Remember
my ride to the Hostie with James one day very well. Screaming down the hill on
my bike. Straight through a pot hole. Ouch! Gravel in my knee, my thigh and the
finger that had lost a nail 3 days beforehand was a mess too. I still have the
scars on my knee and thigh.
Leon Sallway was my boyfriend & Lisa Jefferey was my best freind. Ran into her again a few yrs ago in Qld.
I returned to Butterworth in 1986 with my then Husband Steve Manning. My 2nd child Michael was born in Penang. He is now 16 and is planning one day to take a trip with his Mum to see where he was born. Have an older son Stephen, 19 and am happily married 2nd time around to another ex Raafie, Charles(Chuck).
When we were posted to Pearce(WA) in 1999 We decided that was it no more moving. Charles has been out of the RAAF 2 yrs now and we have built in Quinns Rocks,35km north of Perth.
So any ex RSP student who live in WA maybe we should have a get together.
