Loved life in Penang. Found Australia a bit disappointing but got on with things. Went to Richmond High School until I finished Year 12 in 77. Moved to Nelson Bay with the family and then moved out to become a printer. Did that in Redfern and then again in Newcastle at the BHP. Took voluntary redundancy in 82 and went into the Youthwork field. Have been mostly in that field since then. (With 1 year in sales)

I have worked in the Cross, Western Sydney, Upper Hunter, Narrabri and Cabramatta. (Cabramatta reminded me a lot of Malaysia and I therefore loved the job there).

In 1980 I married Heather and we have 5 kids. The older three are now older than I was in RSP...wow.

To me RSP is a memory, or a history of memories that form much of who I am. Malaysia reformed me and I think made me a better person...of course, it is debatable if it made me a good person, I might just be better than bloody awful.

Cynthia deserves much praise and thanks for founding a place where our shared memories and ongoing experiences can become this community. Thanks.
