We lived at 10 Tanjung Bungah Rd, Tanjung Bungah next to the Goughs,who moved at the end of that year(63).My sisters Lorraine and Lynne also attended the school although they are 3 and 6 years younger than me. The O'Briens and Whites(the scout master) also lived 2 or 3 doors up from us.I remember Natalie Sutton, Pat Spinks and Lyn Hayes in my class as well as Ken McKillop and Graeme? Beresford.The radio announcer was Allan Aitken who was also a student at the school.One of my mates was Arthur Heather who also lived in the same street.
I have fond memories of Penang and the school and the photos on this site brought
back memories that I had long forgotten.
After
leaving school I attended the WA institite of technology studying Pharmacy. I
married Rhonda in 1975 and we have 2 grown daughters. I joined the army in 76
and rose to Captain before leaving to run my own business(diving retail and instruction)in
86.We sold the business in 2001 and I am now working as a Commercial Diver in
and around Perth.
