WOW, memories from Penang, as I read on here somewhere else "I could write a book!" I guess mine are the same as almost everyone elses but it doesnt make them any less special to me. Does anyone else have memories of sneaking behind the seats at the basketball games collecting bottles to get the 5 cent deposit, and finally having enough to buy a "MARS BAR" or some other equally amazingly rare "AUSSIE LOLLIES"?

Or the metal tables with metal umbrellas we sat at when at the hostie having dinner, usually chips (the best in the world)? the swings close by that no matter what age you were, still sat on while our parents were having a life, volleyball, theater, coaching the kids basketball teams.

Now here's a memory...the boys basketball teams dressing up as girls and vice versa, and the idiotic adult dress up matches (most of which were my mum's idea) where they put gladwrap over the hoop, or sat up there and caught the ball n threw it back out again? The very best days of my life as they seem to be for all of us,if you havent done it yet go to "our school song" that'll jerk a few heart strings.

As I said I could write a book, and every page a happy one, I'm even smiling as I sit here in the dark writing this. I hope if there is anyone out there that remembers the name JENNY ALLEN or my sister SUE ALLEN or my twin brothers STEVEN & KENNETH ALLEN or even mum n dad DES N DORREEN ALLEN that you wont hesitate to email me. I would love to speak to someone else that has the same memories as I do. "we RAAF BRATS, EX-RSP are a very special select bunch"!
