Destiny Fulfilled after 24 Years

I received a beautiful email recently which reminded me why I do this website! This news touched me so much that I wanted to share it with everyone! So, with Jaye and Sharon's permission, read what Jaye had to say to me about his reunion with his High School sweetheart! For those who went to the Canberra Reunion in 2008, just look back on that and know that this momentous event was occurring that night. I am hoping for an update after the wedding...

Just wanted to say thanks for all the effort put into this site.

Sure brings back some great memories and a good avenue for catching up with old friends. Also, if it wasn't for this site advertising reunions, I wouldn't be getting married to my long lost love!'

Sharon Verney attended RAAF School from 1979 to 1982 and I from 1981 to 1984. After arriving back in Oz, we got together for a while but then went our separate ways. We met again 24 years later at the Canberra reunion in 2008.

We are the happiest we've ever been and plans are in full swing for our November 2011 wedding. What seems funny-kind-of-weird is that Sharon's sister Debbie, who was in my Year 10 class at RAAF School, is our celebrant!!

It's a small world...and pretty rosy at the moment!
