At my first attempT, I didnt really understand I should be giving a bit of background history.

Short and sweet:
My father was an 'Armourer Fitter' - going by the tag - Hollywood Daetz.

Some of you may know him or of him.

We did 3 runs to Butterworth - 63 - 69 (I was a nipper then) 72 - 75 (Starting to find out girls had germs) 77 - 79 (Found out girls didnt have germs - but none of them wanted to know me)

As for my memories, I cant say they are doing leaps and bounds in my head, but I do remember clearly 3 people who stick formost in my mind:

Catherine Houlihan (think that is correct)
Damon Brooks
Dale Brooker

Looking at the old school photos definately brings back memories and whilst I can't remember all the names, I remember the faces.

Short history on myself....joined the Navy..much to my fathers disgust...served for 23 years and retired to spend some time with my wife and children.

In interest, I have been to Penang a total of 3 times whilst I served in the Navy and it has changed dramatically over the years for those of you who have not had the chance. Still a wonderful place and one that I will always hold close to my heart.

So I think I have nailed the story thing now...hopefully
