Had a great night at Gaythorne RSL. Talked to some people I hadn't seen in 30 years or more. Had a short yarn to Chris Hays and an even longer one with Eion Campbell. got told off by Cathy Campbell for sitting at table with arms folded haha, like I was listening (not). Had great night though and enjoyed myself. though to busy Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning to go to Soutbank. I enjoyed the reunion formally. You know they say things change, with time, mostly its true. But our colective memories of RAAF School Penang doesn't and our lives we spent in and around the School itself will remain with us for the rest of our lives. and that never changes. Reunions like the one I saw and experienced in Brisbane left me a little meloncoly the next day, but I am glad I went to the reunion in Brisbane. Now a word to Mellisa my neice. If you want more early 80s people turning up at reunions it's their fault for being such slack rabbits not turning up at a reunion haha. The decade of the 70s RAAF brats rule haha.

What a wonderful Reunion, so great to see all those 'kids' again. A few of us carried on our Reuion weekend down the Gold Coast at Cathy Campbell's home. A magical time. Thanks Cathy for your hospitality and your friendship, and David, Greg, Julie and Fiona, keep in touch. love Kerry

Had a blast at the reunion. It was great to catch up with the Amos sisters and chat about common things - like our pet monkey "Cheeky". Also to talk to people who had been there. Unfortunately I only met one person who would have been in my class, albiet for a short period. Weirdest thing to happen was to be asked how my eldest brothers are going. Amazing. I really enjoyed the evening and look forward to Penang

Loved the reunion it was a great night the only mild dissapointment was that there was not enough early 80's people there. All in all though a great night

Well another one bites the dust. What a great night, but it was all over too soon. I already have my bags packed and ready for the next big one in Penang. Hopefully I will see many of the same faces there and a few more old/new ones. Thanks so much to all who organised the Brisbane reunion you did a fantastic job. Bravo.

A big thanks to all the people who organized the Brisbane reunion. It was a really great night. It gave me the chance to meet up with old friends that I haven't seen for over 26 years and that was the best. The whole weekend was just wonderful. Would love to do it all again in the near future. Thanks again.

Thanks to all who organised a terrific nite. Met up with a few friends, and made contact with others in my year (some of whom I don't remember), and now have contact details for more old friends. The venue, meal, music and atmosphere were fantastic. Hope to attend many more such reunions. Thanks Trish.

Thanks to the Brisbane reunion committee, the venue and dinner were both excellent and the slides and memorabilia really took me back to those care free days. Five great days in Brisbane sharing memories of those times with my ex classmates and meeting people I knew from other RAAF bases. It’s a tightly woven web we RAAF brats are part of. Penang 2005 sounds good to me!

Thankyou to the organisers for a most memorable reunion. This has been my 4th reunion and they are getting bigger and better "what has Penang have in stall for us?" Great to catch up with all my old friends after all these years and will continue the conversations in more depth when we next meet in Penang. Please take care and continue to spread the word and hunt for our unique little group.
Till we meet again in a place we once called home, Best memories ever, JOHN RYAN.

Great to be in a room where you did not feel a delinquent because of the number of schools attended. Thanks.

Would like to say a big THANKS to the committee, for a great time. My sisters and i had a good weekend. Would like to say sorry to all the guys that I didn't get to chat to, also to those that I couldn't remember. To say a big HI to Lyn Miles who we made friends with at South Bank on saturday afternoon. To Karen and Rick Lennox to say hi to their dad who we travelled home to Ipswich with on the train. He asked us all if we were RAAF BRATS! All 4 of us and him talked all the way home. We really enjoyed ourselves and hopefully we can do it all again someday. HOPEFULLY NOT IN ANOTHER 30 YEARS.

Yet another fabulous reunion..we really appreciate the efforts of those who put their heart and soul into organising these reunions...loved the music, it wasn't too loud but in the background so that we could still hear it and talk ..as there is a lot of talking at these reunions..to those who didn't come you must next time..we have ALL got older to look at..but our eyes are still the same..again a big thank you to the ones that made it happen..and to those that i caught up with it was absolutely fantastic to be with you again..see you at the next one!.."chicken bones"..will you be posting the photos of the party after at the irish pub?...

These reunions keep getting bigger all the time. We had a record 205 people attending this one! I for one had a wonderful time and I know that most of us did as well. The accommodation was brilliant at the Riverside Hotel - a great reunion, a great weekend. The best part was seeing everyone again, the "gang" and other new faces I haven't seen for 30 odd years. Great to see you all and already looking forward to our next reunion!
