As of 28 April 2023 this blog has been removed due to the influx of spam. I will leave only this post by way of explanation due to the menu item on the website.
I created the website in 2001 – in the days before Facebook – and worked on it until July 2017 at which time I handed over the management of it to John Christiansen. John is doing a fantastic job of keeping the site online and I believe this is so important due to the large number of us who are interested and were fortunate enough to attend the RAAF School in Penang while our parents were based at Butterworth. The years were for most of us the best of our lives. So thank you John.
With the advent of Facebook we are able to connect and communicate so easily, but the website fulfils a different function by way of a central place for recording the detail and history of the school and our lives there.
